Analytics data. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device type, referral source). This data is aggregated and does not directly identify you. Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Email address. If you subscribe to our newsletter or download a free resource (such as our gear checklist PDF), we collect the email address you provide. We use MailerLite to store and send emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
Cookies. This site uses cookies for analytics and for affiliate-link tracking. Affiliate networks (such as AvantLink, Impact, ShareASale, Amazon Associates) may set cookies when you click an outbound product link, so the retailer can attribute a purchase to this site. You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Comments and contact. If you contact us by email, we keep the correspondence to respond to you.
What we do NOT do
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
- We do not collect payment information (all purchases happen on retailers’ sites under their own policies).
- We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
